Google presented the best Chrome extensions for 2021

Google, as every year, has presented a group of extensions for its Chrome browser and we share with you some of them that could be useful during your workday, either from the office or from home.

We start with the extensions qualified as productivity and we find Dark Reader (https://darkreader.org) an extension that allows you to enable the dark mode of any web page, even if it does not present this option to be activated by the user. It allows you to relax your eyesight after long hours of exposure to the screen or in dimly lit spaces.

Another interesting extension is Nimbus Screenshot & Screen Video Recorder (https://nimbusweb.me) more than an extension, it is a tool that captures and records content from the web easily and quickly. The company Nimbus Web Platform also offers other resources and digital solutions in the cloud for organizations, allowing collaboration between teams in digital spaces, publications in digital platforms, information backup, among other solutions.

The third productivity extension presented by Google is Tab Manager Plus (https://stefanxo.com) designed for users who use the browser with multiple tabs at the same time, the extension searches and filters tabs, reviews open sites in a single view and detects duplicate content. The Stefanxo company defines the extension as The Marie Kondo for your Chrome tabs.

Among the communication extensions, Wordtune (https://www.wordtune.com) stands out, available only in English, based on an AI system, which detects the central idea of a sentence offering alternative phrases and possible typing corrections to improve the writing of a text. The extension is cross-platform, working wherever you type such as Gmail, Google Docs, Outlook (web version), Facebook, Whatsapp (web version) and others. The extension also promises translation and rewriting of a sentence in another language, offering suggestions in English.

We cannot finish without highlighting Kami (https://www.kamiapp.com), described as an education extension, more than an extension, it is a digital classroom tool, considered the number 1 in the world. It allows uploading digital resources to an interactive space, where students can collaborate in real time, using tools such as annotations, videos, audio, drawings and more, from anywhere in the world and at any time. It integrates with educational platforms such as Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, and Microsoft Teams.

Part of its success is due to being a platform with diverse options, students have equal access to them, being fully inclusive and allowing distance or blended learning.
