Programming
Children learning to program is not a crazy option, even if in the future they do not want to dedicate themselves to programming professionally, learning the basics of programming means that they learn notions of logic and notions about the law of cause and effect, which could help them in making decisions throughout their lives.
This initiative is called FunTech Rocket, a web platform dedicated to teaching programming notions to primary school children, which they can access from home, with only 15 minutes of daily dedication.
The headquarters of FunTech Rocket is in Spain, during the month of June they gave free workshops on Initiation to Programming in schools in Madrid and Valencia, inviting schools in Madrid and Valencia to join the call to add the learning program to their regular enrollment.
This alternative is based on 4 learning stages:
Without leaving aside the fun, all these phases are taught in the form of games, with theoretical explanations that advance according to the gradual progress that the child presents during the games, according to the pace of individual learning.
Additionally, they can earn RocketCoins (virtual currency of the platform) by correctly answering the challenges that are presented and can spend them in the FunTech Store to buy accessories to customize their chosen avatar or purchase items for their ship. As if that wasn't enough, they can choose to answer a Trivia, where they can answer 5 general culture questions a day and win extra RocketCoins, kids learn while having fun!
